Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I really appreciate it. I also appreciate the instruction on how best to use the equipment. I am thrilled to say that, that is exactly what I am doing due to advice from a physical therapist/friend. I am concentrating on doing slow reps to tone & build the entire muscle. I am beginning to really enjoy it. I can close my eyes and almost meditate since the machine counts the reps. It has become a wonderful experience & I love the machines.
It is wonderful to email a company that actually has time for your questions and cares.
We are a large high-end retirement community in the western suburbs of Chicago. We have 178 independent living and 56 assisted living apartments. For the past three years we have been using HUR equipment in our Physial Therapy / Fitness Center with great success.
From a sales and marketing perspective, this equipment shows extremely well and has helped us close at least three or four sales each quarter - from a revenue perspective that equates to about $36k per sale each year. Prospects and their families see our residents using this equipment every time they come through our community and when asked the residents tell them how much they enjoy using the equipment and how much it has improved their health and wellbeing.
The equipment has also helped from a resident retention perspective as the program for each resident is built from a balance assessment that is done on each new resident to determine their risk for falls. Once the assessment has been completed and their risk determined an individualized program is set up on the equipment. Residents’ strength and balance has improved greatly over time and the fitness trainer and the therapists work closely together to monitor the progress.
I am extremely happy that we made the decision to use HUR equipment and feel that this state-of the-art program is one of the things that sets us apart from our competition.
