PRODUCT NEWS: Introducing the Adjustable Pulley - HUR’s latest machine

Unlike traditional resistance machines the Pulley, like all HUR equipment, uses a pneumatic (air) system called Natural Transmission^TM, rather than weight stacks. This matches the body’s natural muscular movement by using air as resistance to overcome the additional effort required to lift a static weight at the beginning of an exercise and to slow it down at the end. ‘Smoothing’ the range of movement reduces stress on joints and connective tissues and works the muscle more specifically, regardless of speed. The benefit is safer, more effective exercise for all ages and abilities including athletes, regular exercisers, disabled users and those in rehabilitation.



The Pulley offers a wide range of exercise options for upper, middle and lower body. It has a low start weight and the resistance has stepless adjustment with a simple to use + and – button -, helpful for users with upper body impairments. Adjustable handles are fitted as standard; these help with stability when performing unilateral exercises and provide support for wheelchair users. For extra safety the unique frame design covers (and protects) all internal parts.

There are two models, freestanding and wall mountable - in frame colours black, white and silver/grey.

From December 2008 a Smart Card option will be available.
